This is Stormside - An adult harem visual novel..
After returning from your time within a special military unit designed for people with magical abilities, you meet your childhood friend, Riley, and her best friend Cassie, who are planning their own next steps in life. You find yourself joining them at the Stormside International Academy.
It isn't long before you discover that this academy, and the way it treats its students is anything but ordinary...
(And no, the magical abilities aren't "you can corrupt girls with your mind" or anything like that..)
This is a game about an academy that allows female students to be sexually punished and/or rewarded by an individual known as "The Magistrate". When the Magistrate gets injured, his position is up for grabs, allowing you to take his place.
Will you use your new position to protect the girls from punishment, or will you use it to become their master?
The game features a branching story that changes depending on your choices, and so it's not possible to get all the content in one playthrough. It's worth knowing that going in.

Additional details
- The game features lesbian content, which you can opt out of. Doing so changes the story, but not negatively.
- All punishments are optional, with one exception. In the current version, there is one punishment you are forced to carry out, but you can choose to be tame.
- You definitely aren't gonna see all the content in one playthrough, and this will only become more true as development goes on. (You can use saves though to achieve this. The game does have named saves.)
- Not all the choices matter, but a lot of them do. There's a gallery unlocker at the end in case people just wanna see all the scenes though. There is (or will be) more than one way to get on each girl's route, the whole idea is to do what you wanna do, without having to worry about accidentally locking yourself out of your preferred outcome. Since the game is in development, it may seem like there's an optimal path right now, but as development continues, this may prove not to be the case. For example, not getting a scene at the end of the current update, means you'll most likely get a scene later on which you otherwise wouldn't have gotten. This game will be a completionist's nightmare lmao.

That is my question too and I get he has other thing to do in life and I think he is going to release a big update at once rather than uploading smaller ones and forcing us to download new ones each time.But yes the game is still in development.

Hi don’t give up look at CodeScionSecretswithin they were gone since 2023 just got an update from dev saying they was back. Just follow them and you’ll get a notification when the game is updated. Hope this helps you fellow gamers.
We're officially at one year since the last public release on itch.io. I'd love to hear an update on this game.
Last update that I saw on discord was 1/15. Basically the next update might be around 3gbs. So the game will be a total of 10gbs. Nothing as far as release date though sadly but hey it's not a dead game so keep checking in. If I see another update I'll post a comment

I think most people supporting the dev will tell you that the game is still being developed. That being said, there have been some red flags from the developer (in my opinion).
I have a problem, I got stuck in the pc of the mc, cant get off, and when I click on the download update thing, the game crash, Im an android user (APK), plz help, the game is so good.

If you are using Windows, then you have downloaded an archive called "stormside-windows.zip"
( ".zip" is only displayed if you activate it in Windows folder options. Not necessary).
To extract the game from the archive, you need a program that can extract archives, examples would be WinRaR or 7zip.
Inside the extracted folder there should be a file with the name "stormside.exe"
( ".exe" is only displayed if you activate it in Windows folder options. Not necessary).
In the case of an "antique" computer, there is the "stormside-32.exe"
( ".exe" is only displayed if you enable it in Windows Folder Options. Not necessary).
Desktop -> This PC -> Properties (ALT + ENTER)
The system type is listed there, 64bit or 32bit under Windows.
32bit -> stormside-32.exe
64bit -> stormside.exe

For Android, you can look for Joiplay on Patreon(since original website doesn’t have the latest APK) and install it (remember to look for plugins in app after installation and setup a location in your storage for games)

I know I’ve seen this question asked multiple times but I’m currently stuck on the screen after the conversation you have with the dad after arriving to stormside. I’ve tried using both messageCount = 1, messageCount = 0, and just scrolling back and forth for a bit. Yes I made sure to hit enter and escape. None of this has worked so far any other work around or am I SOL?

It's kind of aggravating that I'm following (in one save thread) the path to get Hikari to take the spanking and the current version ends before the payoff. Please scale your opening loading% animation to account for us poor souls still stuck with less-than-4k monitors. Even though I have my normal (Linux) system settings otherwise, your graphic splashes across both of my monitors, which is awkward because my primary is portrait orientation for word prokking and the other is landscape for video watching and game playing. I have reasons to not make the landscape one my primary.

No, but don't expect anything remotely like fast updates. The developer has a unique concept which includes massive branching and different facial expressions for each branch, even superficially similar ones. The developer also has a demanding full-time job.
As a result, updates are rare and may not necessarily advance the story much depending on the branching-related overhead. Personally, like most people I wouldn't need so much perfectionism around the branching, but apparently that's precisely what motivates the developer and ensures that we get any progress at all. So instead of complaining I am exploring the branching while waiting up to a year for the next update.
Not a problem, appreciate the information. Just wanted to be sure. I would always rather wait on quality than get a lot of disappointing content.

Use Joiplay. It's basically an emulator. You can play PC version on Android with that. It's what I do.

Last post I saw from the creator was late November. It was basically just stating that they are still working on the game and that it's a large update and that they'll have more time to work on the game after holidays.
If this is really abandoned it is a very sad story, because it was a very nice game. I wanted to see it grow but... well, whatever i guess.

Always seems to happen. Still, better (in my opinion) than devs who label game critics as spam or trolls. Those are total tde p***ies. On my shit list is Crimson High for both content removal 0.36-0.38 and itch tyranny, as well as Corrupted Kingdoms for likewise itch tyranny. Sooner play an abandoned game than a CCP one.

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for being utterly unresponsive to pretty much all messages and comments recently. I seem to have got myself in a mindset where my only priority is finishing the update, and between that and irl work I've been pretty much blanking the community side of things. Now I see why even indie devs often have a community manager.
I'm gonna try to respond to all the messages and things in the limited time I have in the next hour before I gotta go visit family for Christmas, but anything I don't get to I'll try to do a couple of days after Christmas. So far, this has been probably the busiest year of my life. Outside of irl work and working on the game itself, I've had far less time than I'd like for anything else. In truth, I burned out partially, but not entirely. I chose to put what I still have into making the game instead of chatting, and perhaps went too far with it. I think once the update is actually finished it'll be a breath of fresh air. The main issue right now is the pressure to release the thing. I had no idea it was gonna take this long to make, so while I do still maintain "It's done when it's done", I definitely understand why cyberpunk came out in the state it did, and that game was an entirely different scale.
As for the update, I can't claim there's any specific reason for it taking so long like being sick or whatever, it's just how long it's taking me to make it. Only so many hours in the day, and that can vary for any number of reasons. One reason I don't do more frequent progress updates is I feel I'd be repeating myself with this specific update because I'm having to make so many versions of the same scene. Such is branching. Admittedly there have been a number of irl disruptions to the process, but nothing too crazy. It's up to each of you whether you're happy with that or not. The main point is that the game is still being worked on, and the update WILL be released as soon as I can. I look forward to never making an update this complicated again. I don't 100% know whether it'll be out before the end of the year, but that's what I'm aiming for. I don't expect to come back to discord until the update is actually finished, since that's pretty much my sole focus right now. Once it's done though, I'll come back and see what's up. Thank you for your continued support despite my lack of communication for like half this year.
Also I think iru (Discord mod for those who don't know) sent out a message on Discord to pesky gnome and above subs to remind me of their chosen item. I haven't responded to anyone doing that yet, but I will. Same with any outstanding custom render stuff from before that was cancelled. I will get to it, but the priority is the update. I gotta go for Christmas stuff in like 30 mins, but I'm gonna try to go through messages until then. (Not discord though because I have an absurd amount of notifications there. I'll have to go through them once I have more time.)
