I'm glad to see this project show signs of life again. I do hope the author continues the existing story, but narrow down the branching perhaps. It always seemed a bit too ambitious for one person, in my opinion. Having a choice with whom and what kind of relationship you wish to have, in addition to letting the player roleplay a bit, just enough to make us feel as if our choices matter, is already excellent. No need for four wildly different outcomes for every situation.
Before someone throws a molotov at me, I think Olivia might actually have a soft spot that we'll get to utilize and ultimately make her ours later on in the game. Just like Diana in the Lyanna series by DWR, I'd say. If my prediction is true, then I'd be one happy man
Everyone can join in on discord, donate if you wish, since Atem has had a harsh 2025 they can use all the support we can give. Whether you want to be a top tier member or just send some moneys their way; it will help in the long run for their well being.
As for the game, we need to be patient and give Atem time to recoup from everything they have gone through. In time, we may see more, but for all of us who appreciate the individual efforts made for this game, we must respect Atem's well-being and allow them the time they need.

All the games I played around that time are mostly a blur but I might be able to find it in my old saves, do you know what it was called? Or maybe a couple words? Also, if you can't really remember that much the way to find all your saves for all Ren'py games is to go to "C:\Users\"yourwindowsusername"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy" in the files explorer, and you might be able to find it in there if the title isn't abbreviated or something like that, or it strikes a memory. If you're mobile, though, there isn't really a way to find all those save files unless you hook it up to a pc and go through a whole process to look at appdata I think.

I personally would be ok if stormside was more visual novel-y, but given that I would go down the submissive routes with everyone, that may not be realistic to say. I wonder if you could collect route data?

Honestly the branching storyline is no where near the reason we play it, it's all about that sweet sweet humour. If you continue the game but decides to stop making it more branching than it already is we would be completely fine with that. The game is awesome because you're a comedy fucking genius. We actually laughed as the bransching story line comment in the description of the game and often joke about it since it's really over the top and actually not really necessarily. We're going to support you either way and if you're still making it when we have a better economy we'll definitely become Patreon members for sure. Some people will definitely be assholes, oblivious or mistrusting but what you've been through could happen to anyone and what you've felt is understandable. Yes you could have handled it differently but as we say in Sweden "Lätt att säga i efterhand.", easy to say after it all had happened our whatever you call it. Take your time, it's easy to say from the outside but don't feel pressured we all love your game and "om man väntar på något gott väntar man aldrig för länge" if you're waiting for something good you'll never wait too long ;)

I can't help but feel like they are just trying to continue milking their patreon supporters. And I am saying this as someone who hopes for the continued development of this game.
If he had IRL problems, I think the very least he could have done was to inform the people who were financially supporting development instead of leading them on and misleading supporters to think that an update is imminent.
As it stands, I find it very difficult to want to to support the developer. I hope Atemsiel can be more consistent in the future or, at the very least, more transparent in terms of communication

About Stormside, is your story, take your time to refocus, and if you think is better to restart, make changes, or something else, just continue and do it. A couple nights ago, I actually had a dream where I went to the Bahamas with Cassie and Riley. Riley was breaking records in Space Invaders at the arcade, while Cassie was being her joyous self, pulling my arm and bringing me to various locations around the island. We did activities like lawn bowling, volleyball and beach strolling. My mom made a cameo too, eating lunch in a cafeteria and telling me, "You guys having fun?"
My brain must have been reminding me how much I miss Stormside, to the point it generated a nonexistent chapter. Wherever you are, Atemsiel, I hope you're safe at the very least. Crazy how he drops one of the best AVNs I've ever played and dips, leaving it on a cliffhanger. It reminds me of what happened to that drama series called Siren.

IMHO it's worth playing even if you have to you let your imagination finish the story. Sadly we only have Act I, but it's still of higher caliber than most AVNs I've come across.
